I would recommend that you send an email to Sgt. Rafael Fernandez(MNPD) at: rafael.fernandez@nashville.gov
and ask him if there's anything the police can do.

I hope that Sgt. Fernandez may be able to shed some light on what kind of parking is allowed in that small turn-about on Skyglen. It's not really large enough to be considered a "cul-de-sac", so I'm not sure since I don't see it clearly defined.

Sometime Monday night between 11pm and 7am Tuesday morning our car was broken into right in front of our house. It’s very disturbing and we just want to make sure everyone is aware of what’s happening during late hours in our neighborhood. Please be careful, keep car doors locked and do not leave anything of value in your cars.

Jbfranklin, thank you for letting us know. I have passed along the information to our Neighborhood Watch. You are correct, it is very important to "Park Smart" these days. Car break-ins are happening all over Nashville.

My Home was broken into !
I came home last night too find that someone had broken into my home thru the back door ! Location Canoe Ridge Point, Oak Highlands. From what we can tell, it was a single person ( since we found a single set of foot prints on the back deck, we still had snow ) By the looks of the prints it could have been a about a size 7-9 shoe. The person could have been on foot since the big stuff like TV, Computer, Lap Top, Stereo was not taken. They made off with about $1500.00 worth of stuff : 2 Movado Watches ( one silver , still in the box// one Gold and Sliver ) an unopened Black Sony Noice Cancelling Earphones // an unopened Apple TV// my old passport // some foreign cash, left overs from travels abroad // a jar full of quarters // this is all I’ve seen right off that missing. I’m sure they were in and out fast. I know it had to have been later in the evening , since the bed room light was on when I got home. What’s done is done, but if anyone saw anything out of place last night on Canoe Ridge Point, pls report it to metro police. Let’s all look out for one another pls. . I have reported this information to the police.

Hello Everyone, something that I wanted to bring up. For the most part we all know who lives in our streets the the homes near our own. So, if you see someone/something out of place, let folks know. Don’t be afraid to ask , hey what are you doing in my street. Let’s look out for each other.
